I've been enjoying gardening and enjoying any bit of sunshine that the Pacific Northwest will give me. I've been clearing garden and vegetable beds of weeds and have finally spread wildflower seeds and planted vegetables. Lettuce, Kale, Spinach and Cilantro. All from baby starts, so fragile and sweet.
The wildflowers are beginning to poke through the soil and mulch.
Also chamomile in a pot on the porch.
A creature was messing with my lettuce in the last couple of days. A cat? A rodent? Only time will tell. But I have been enjoying getting my hands in the dirt and seeing what will happen. An experiment in my backyard.
It has been hard to go into my basement office to work with video and edit on my computer.
To distracted by the blooming blossoms and the smell of freshly tilled earth. But hopefully all this will inspire the work that is to come.
